A couple of days ago some ideas and images about the relationship between technology and the everyday life came to my mind while I was reading this interesting post from Ian Tait talking about those amazing technology related things that surround us on a daily basis, and we just don’t care (or at least those things don’t surprise us anymore). At that very moment I remembered this video made by the Post Office Research Labs in the 1960s and all the stories we usually hear from our parents and grandparents about how difficult was life in their times…

Today I found this brand new Mixed Reality video from they guys at Nokia. You will find more data about their research in this field right here.

Nice, isn’t it? I think that watching things like this with the eyes of a surprised and engaged child is key for the whole advertising industry to finally embrace technology as something natural, not to watch it as a threat. At the the end of the day, more and more gadgets and iteration methods wil be created, but it’s all about relationships, feelings, communications, being in touch, generating reactions, improving experiences and creating memorable moments.
