Lovie Awards 2015 – Final Entry Deadline

Are You The Best in Europe?

We’re sure you’d agree that Europe’s creative industry is constantly bursting with amazing work.

And that’s why our friends at The Lovie Awards are here. The Lovie Awards is named after Ada Lovelace, known as the world’s first computer programmer, and it is the most prestigious—and only truly pan-European—honour for online excellence. The Lovies is the sister of the international Webby Awards, specifically recognising the very best of the European internet across Websites, Online Advertising, Internet Video, Mobile and Apps and Social.

Past Lovie winners exemplify just what makes the European industry so diverse and so special: they range from giants like Jamie Oliver, Sigur Ròs, Stephen Fry and Spotify, to individual projects like Catleidoscope and innovative products like the TFL mobile app and Mubi’s iOS.

We especially love that at The Lovie Awards, you can submit work in seven languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish. Not only that, all work is judged by a native speaker—no translations needed. Lovie jurors are the European members of IADAS (The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences) and representing some of the industry’s best:

  • Vic Hayes (“Father of WiFi”)
  • Dan Howell (Vlogger, danisnotonfire)
  • Imogen Heap
  • Iain Tait (ECD, Wieden+Kennedy London)
  • Genevieve Petit (Editor, PetitWeb)
  • Chester Chipperfield (Special Projects, Apple)
  • Elke Klinkhammer (Chief Creative Officer, McCann Germany)
  • Fredrik Josefsson (Creative Director / Partner, Åkestam Holst)
  • Shirley Au (President & COO, Huge)
  • Beatriz Martin (CTO, JWT Spain)
  • Bart te Riele (Interactive creative director, Ogilvy Amsterdam)
  • Eric Wahlforss (Co-Founder, Soundcloud)
  • Kai Heuser (Creative Director & Unit Lead, HEIMAT Berlin)

You can take part in shaping Europe’s digital landscape and writing its’ history: enter your amazing projects and salute the hard work of your team by the Final Entry Deadline, 12th June 2015 at lovieawards.eu.
