This Stool Rocks launchesd on Kickstarter this week with the potential to disrupt the ready-to-assemble furniture industry. Launched by Fabsie.com, a new platform for the next generation of furniture designers, This Stool Rocks is the first in a series of custom made, on-demand furniture made using a process known as 3D Cutting.
3D Cutting machines are almost identical to 3D Printers. Also known as CNC wood routers, 3D Cutting machines move tools along a path set by a designer’s digital file to make customized products on-demand. All you have to do is click a button, and your chosen design will be sent to a local maker in London, Dublin, San Francisco or New York. This Stool Rocks can be also personalised with a logo or text and assembles in less than one minute with no glue, nails or screws.
All Fabsie products will be made from furniture grade high quality Plywood. The first hundred stools ordered on the Kickstarter get a super early bird discount and the next five hundred will get the early bird discount, so check out the Kickstarter page here, sooner rather than later.
