As Sao Paulo bans all outdoor advetising to avoid ‘visual pollution’, my Brazilian compatriots are finding other ways of getting people’s attetion.
This is an ad for cold and flu relief where water vaporisers from images of people coughing. The line reads “flu is in the air”. As some might say, the more restrictions thrown at us the more creative we need to get.

Marketing is the appropriation of culture to business
Advertising is a business model within marketing
Bad advertising is propaganda
Good advertising contributes to culture
The best brands create culture
…and the best brands have money, the more they can give back the better our culture can be
